Moodseat stores content against an anonymous, app-scoped identifier — never your name or email.
What you can ask us to delete
Your anonymous identifier and the app activity linked to it: the moods you selected, the films you voted for in Versus, and the taglines you posted.
Any tagline or vote you posted that is still visible in the app. We remove it from the live service.
What is not on our servers
Your watchlist and your film scrapbook are stored only on your device. We cannot see or delete them for you — uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes them completely.
In the app, open You → the build number is shown at the bottom of that screen. Include it so we can find the right version.
If you know it, include the anonymous identifier shown in the app's About section. If you do not, we can still locate your records from the request.
We confirm every request by reply and complete verified deletions within 30 days. There is no charge.
What we keep, and for how long
Deleted: your anonymous identifier, your votes, your taglines, and your selected moods — removed from the live database.
Kept briefly: standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) are retained transiently for security and reliability and rotate out automatically.
Kept: nothing tied to your name, email, phone number, or postal address — we never collect them.
Account deletion
Moodseat has no user accounts to delete. Sign-in is anonymous and automatic, so deleting your data is the same request as above.
